Wendell Newsome

Wendell Newsome, age 58, the son of Doris Newsome and the late Joel Newsome, passed away Saturday the 19th of July. He left behind a sister, Kay Newsome; two daughters, Ashley and Kailey Newsome; and one granddaughter, Macie Newsome. He was raised in Smyrna, Georgia, and a graduate of both Campbell High School (1974), Georgia Institute of Technology (1980). A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, July 30th 2014 at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home located at 502 Miller Street Extension Statesboro, GA 30458. Please join us for the Committal Service at Lanes Primitive Baptist Church immediately following the memorial service, located at 1022 Lanes Church Road Brooklet, GA 30415. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Alzheimer's Association PO Box 96011 Washington, D.C. 20090-6011. Cremation services provided by West Georgia Crematory, Austell, GA.
