Russell Byers

Russell Byers, 47 of Dallas, passed away on April 2, 2022. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Yeomans of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie & Braden Abraham of Hartwell; sons, Jeremy Byers of Carrolton and Austin Byers of Bremen; grandchildren, Landon Abraham, Ryleigh Abraham, Carson Byers and Lucas Byers; his cousin Sierra Jones; his ex-wife & friend Tanya Byers of Bremen, and his dogs, Little George and Bam.

A great dad, grandfather and son, Russell loved his kids and grandkids, his mother and his former wife. He enjoyed time spent with his family, whether it was playing video games or watching Georgia football. He was a big Dawgs fan and was super excited when they won the championship game.

Russell was a hard worker. He started his own roofing company at a young age and built a good business. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing and playing ball. He was an all-around great guy who will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Russell Byers’ life will be scheduled at a later date.
