Ruby Amanda Oakes

Ruby Amanda Oakes was born in Birmingham, Alabama to her parents Theodis Darnell Oakes and Betty Jean Kelley. They later moved to New York.

Ruby was full of love for life. Ruby is survived by her parents; sons, Eric Ryan Oakes, Ronald Oakes and Brandon Jay Dow; sisters, Lorraine Purdie and Kathleen B. Oakes; brothers, Theodis D. Oakes, Jr., Douglas W. Oakes and Peter J. Oakes; loving grandchildren Eric Devon Oakes and Enajuh Ruby Oakes and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, extended family and loving friends.
