Robert Dillard Mckenzie

Robert Dillard Mckenzie 65, of Austell died Thursday, March 24 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Mckenzie is survived by his wife Glynda, daughter Debbie (Joey) Vanderford of Newnan; Randee and Mark Garrett of Franklin, Cindy (Keith) Shelnutt of Franklin, stepsons William and John Deloach of Austell; brothers and sisters Johnny and Kathy Mckenzie of College Park, Jackie and Sandra Mckenzie of Valdosta, Howard and Becky Mckenzie, Millie Jo and Chuck Roack of Houston Tx, Linda Mckenzie of Tallapoosa. Mr Mckenzsie is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Robert Mckenzie a native of Smyrna, was born the son of the late Willie and Vergie Mckenzie. He worked for the CertainTeed Roofing plant for 28 years. He was a hard-working baptist and enjoyed growing peppers and loved eating spicy foods.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
