Paul Wayne Mize

Paul Wayne Mize, 75, of Atlanta, GA passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Paul lost his short battle with lung cancer on Wednesday, August 8, 2012.

He was born in Lafayette, GA September 11, 1936. Paul attended Gainesville Junior College and proudly served in the United States Coast Guard. He celebrated 42 years of marriage with Sandra Mize on July 15th.

Paul enjoyed cooking, traveling, storytelling and was a master of trivia. He could always be easily found by the sound of his cheerful humming.

Paul is survived by his wife Sandra, son Derrick, daughter Suzanne and two precious granddogs, Elvis and Reuben.

A committal service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 15 at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
