Mack Amos Hudson

Mack A. Hudson, 86 years old, formerly of Beallsville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at his home in Villa Rica, Ga. He was born October 12, 1926 in Neffs, Ohio; son of Harry W. Hudson and Edna Lou Pugh Hudson.

He was an Army Veteran of 2 years, serving in Germany; retired from Ormet Corp. of Hannibal, Ohio after 33 years of service; life member of VFW, Post 9930 of Duffy, Ohio and life member of Amerian Legion, Post 0768 of Beallsville, Ohio.

He is survived by his spouse of 50 years, Wilma J. (Dawson) Hudson whom he married in 1963; sons, Greg (Kricket) Hudson of Toney, AL, Dennis Hudson of Columbus, OH; daughters, Laura (Mike) Sherman, Villa Rica, GA, Donna (Arthur)Huddleston, Villa Rica, GA, Ruth (Jeff) Clark of Columbus, Ohio; son-in-law, Kenny Sherman; brothers, William (Joyce) Hudson of Neffs, OH, Earl (Ruth) Hudson, Elizabethtown, KY; sister, Sylvia Hawkins, Pahrump, NV.; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death also by his daughter, Terri Lynn (Kenny) Hudson Sherman – three days prior to her fathers death, dying on August 4, 2013. Also deceased siblings, Carl Hudson, Ernie Hudson, Ethel Agnes, Evelyn Mae LeMaster, Gladys Alberta Decker, Mary Ann Mathews; granddaughter, Denise Lynn (Nippert) Carroll 3-7-2010.

Per Mack's wishes, he was cremated and a memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
