Layla Marie Marroquin

Layla Marie Marroquin, 42 of Bowdon passed away on May 3, 2022. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany on February 16, 1979, to Jesse Marroquin and the late Sandra Kay Pittman. Layla was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her companion, Timmie Baker and their two children Blayton and Isabella, Her father and stepmother- Jesse and Cheryl Marroquin of Carrollton, her sister-Tammy (Allen) TeVault from Florida. Brothers- Jeff (Tina) Weldon from Georgia and Danny (Amanda) Marroquin from California. Nephew- Donavan Weldon and Niece- Zoey TeVault. Survivors also include a host of, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends. Layla really enjoyed going on Vacation to Florida to see her sister and family. She enjoyed time spent with her family, friends and loved ones. Layla lived for her children and enjoyed watching them with all their accomplishments, Layla was the most selfless person to meet, she did so much for others, all the time. Layla was a hard worker. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed watching her children play sports, and attending their school events. She also enjoyed playing Bingo because she said it always reminded her of her mother. She was always a joy to be around, to know her was to love her. Layla will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. A celebration of Layla Marroquin’s life and small memorial service will be on Monday, May 16, 2022, at Bowdon Church of God with Pastor Cliff Hendrix Officiating. The family will receive friends and family around 5pm Services will be conducted at: 1030 W. College Street Bowdon Ga. 30108 Flowers can be sent directly to the Church.
