Larry Cecil Oliver passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 17th, 2024, at the age of 72. Born on Wednesday, July 23rd, 1952, in Tennessee, Larry was a kind-hearted gentleman whose warmth and generosity touched the lives of many. Larry proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, where he developed a strong sense of duty and camaraderie that he carried throughout his life. After his military service, he dedicated his career to maintenance work, where his diligence and expertise were highly valued. A man of many talents, Larry had a deep passion for music and loved to play the guitar. His weekends were often spent at the local flea market, where he hosted a booth, sharing stories and laughter with friends and visitors alike. His presence there will be sorely missed by the community. Larry is survived by his loving partner, Inez Flournoy, and his brothers, Dwight Oliver, Jeff Oliver, and Wesley Oliver. He also leaves behind several other family members and friends who cherished his company and kindness. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Oliver, and his mother, Sarah Frances Scott. Larry's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the joy of simple pleasures. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
