Jerry Leon Dobbs

Jerry Leon Dobbs, age 77 of Austell, died Sunday, January 24, 2010 at his son's residence in Douglasville. He is survived by his children, Michael Dobbs of Powder Springs, Randy Dobbs of Douglasville, and Darlene Dobbs Page of Austell; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Dobbs of Carrollton; several nieces and nephews.

An Atlanta native, Mr. Dobbs was born on May 22, 1932 to the late James Ernest Dobbs and Era Catherine Dobbs. Mr. Dobbs was a veteran in the United States Army, member of the VFW; member of Mableton Moose Lodge and member of the American Legion. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donation be made in his memory to West Georgia Crematory for his final funeral arrangements.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 5 pm until 8 pm at Roy Davis Funeral Home in Austell. Mr. Dobbs will be cremated according to his personal wishes.
