Mrs. Jennie Pearl Barnes, age 76 of Acworth, died December 25, 2008. She is survived by her husband, Willie Barnes; sons, Arthur Hammon of Nevada, Gary Hammon of California, Timothy E. Barnes of Marietta; daughter, Gala A. Barnes of Maryland; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 11:00 am at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 505 Powers Ferry Road, Marietta, GA. The family has asked that donations be made to John Knox Presbyterian Church and Victory North Church in memory of Jennie Barnes.
