Jeanette Stanton Carr, age 67 of Marietta, died Thursday, November 11, 2010. She is survived by her sons, "Max" Bryant McCarthy Smith, Richard Lorin Smith, Jr.; sisters, Ethlyn Turner and Barbara Stanton; grandson, Taylor McCarthy Smith.
Mrs. Carr was a Commercial Fishing Boat Captain. A private family committal service at sea will be held at a later date.
