James Powell

James Powell age 88, of Austell, passed away October 14th. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary; sons, Jimmy (Diane) Brewer and Brent (Michelle) Powell; daughter, Gail (Terry) Balowin; sisters, Polly Johnson, Doris Henderson and Gladys Harwood and grandchildren, Kylee Powell Ryder, Kevin James Powell, Chris Brewer, Larry Brewer, Kenneth Arnold and Cindy Arnold. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Eunice Powell and brother, John. Mr. Powell was a member of the American Legion Mooselodge and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending his time with his beloved grandchildren, riding his tractor and being outdoors. Mr. Powell was a very caring and loving man who will be missed by many. In accordance with his wishes his body was cremated.
