James Daniel Cosby

James Daniel Cosby, 65, of Ball Ground, GA, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Mr. Cosby, also known as Dan, Dano, Dan The Man, and Diaper, was born on April 2, 1959 in Pasadena, Texas to the late Willie Cosby and Joan Block Cosby. Dan was a “man’s man” who loved Jesus, hot rods, motorcycles, revving an engine, playing the guitar, deep sea fishing, playing golf, and Waffle House. He was happiest spending time with his grandson, turning a wrench, or making someone laugh. He was always the class clown. His family spent 10 years as missionaries in Australia, where he made some of his favorite childhood memories. This world needs more people with a big heart, like Dan. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Willie Cosby and Joan Block Cosby, his baby brother David Cosby, and his only son James Dean Cosby. Dan is survived by his only grandson James Dillon Cosby, his sister Deborah Davis and her husband Mark Davis, his nephew Samuel Cabe, his two great-nephews Gideon Cabe and August Cabe, and his great-niece Fiona Cabe.
