James Lamar Bennett, age 55 of Acworth, died October 24, 2010 at Tranquility Hospice. He was born in Marietta, GA to the late Marcus Webb Bennett and Annie Dorsey Walker Bennett on May 24, 1955.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Lynn Phillips Bennett; son, Josh Bennett; daughter, Leona Bennett all of Acworth; sister, Judy and husband Ronnie White of TN; brothers, Mitchell Bennett of TN, and David Bennett of Acworth; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
