Jacquelyn Capps Barfield Brey

Jacquelyn Capps Barfield Brey passed away at home, Friday, June 14, 2019. She was born in Covington, Georgia to John Roy Capps and Myrtle Capps on September 27, 1936. Jacquelyn was the oldest of 7 children.

Jacquelyn held several degrees from Berry College, GA Southern University and GA State University. She was a teacher and then eventually became a teaching certification supervisor with Professional Standards Commission.

Jacquelyn is survived by her children: Stephanie Barfield Enfinger and her husband Charles Enfinger, Stuart Barfield and his wife Shirley Barfield. Ms. Brey had five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, six siblings, and many nieces and nephews.
