Ivan Goins

Mr. Ivan Goins, age 57, of Winston, Georgia passed away on February 7, 2017. Mr. Goins was born in Miami, Florida to James Goins and Thelma Goins. Mr. Goins was employed by Mercedes-Benz of South Atlanta since 2006. Ever the devoted husband, loving father and doting grandfather, he enjoyed time spent with his family. In his spare time, he liked to tend his garden, loved to cook especially BBQ, build transmissions, get on the lawnmower, relax, and when able, have a beach getaway, as well as fish. Mr. Goins is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Thelma. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his loving wife, Gabriella Gibbs-Goins; six sons: Daryl Holmes, Ivan Maurice Goins, Cornelius Goins, Christopher Goins, Byron Goins, and Andre Goins; his father, James (Zip) Goins; his father, James (Zip) Goins; two dear aunts, Aunt Rose (Mom) and Aunt Ola Mae; eleven grandchildren and two more on the way; siblings: Joyce Perkins, Eric Goins, Victor Bryant, Sr., Keith Goins, Pete Kirkpatrick, and Tiffany Kirkpatrick; and a host of family, loved ones and friends.

The family will gather with friends and relatives to celebrate the life of Ivan Goins on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 2:00pm at Pristine Chapel Lakeside, 7541 Mt. Zion Blvd., Jonesboro, GA, 30236.
