Gloria H Rakestraw

Mrs. Gloria Rakestraw (Henry) of Bremen, GA formerly of Dallas, GA passed away on Monday June 6, 2022, at Tanner Carrollton Hospital. She was born on July 23, 1953, in Paulding County Ga, Daughter of the late George Henry and Tommie Henry (Craton). Surviving are her husband of 50 years Coleman Odell Rakestraw of Bremen, GA; Sons and Daughter in laws Adam and Dana Rakestraw of Dallas, GA, Shane and Jennifer Rakestraw of Powder Springs GA, Matt and Ashley Rakestraw of Bremen, GA. Grandkids Jedidiah Samuel George Rakestraw, Morgan Ann Rakestraw, Austin Matthew Rakestraw, Yasmine Jade Schmidt (Rakestraw), Hunter Reid Rakestraw and Ireland Grace Rakestraw. Great Grandkids Axel Kerestes Schmidt and Anastasia Jade Schmidt. Brother and sister-in-law Danny and Liz Adair of Dallas, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Tommie Henry, Brothers Thomas Carter, Robert Carter, Grand Kids Caley Hope Rakestraw and Anakin Luke Rakestraw. Memorial Service will be on June 25, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the McPherson Baptist Church in Dallas, GA with Rev. Lee Griggs Officiating with special music by Rev. Lee Griggs and Cathy Griggs and Ashley Rakestraw. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to cover funeral expenses.
