Elizabeth Overby Marshall

Elizabeth Overby Marshall, 88, peacefully passed away in her sleep at the Golden Living Retirement Village in Marietta, Georgia on January 19, 2010.

She was born in Brickhaven, North Carolina, raised her two children with her husband Woodrow Marshall in Norfolk, Virginia and spent her last years in the care of her son in Marietta, Georgia. She was a registered nurse and a lifelong member of Moncure United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking and reading. She was preceded in death by her daughter June Marshall Bryant and her survivors include a son, John Marshall and wife, Kendra; a brother, Don Overby and wife, Nadine; Five grandchildren and Three Great-Grandchildren. The memorial service will be at Moncure United Methodist Church on February 6, 2010 @ 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Moncure United Methodist Church
