Dottie Mace

Dorothy (Dottie) Mace, 83, of Kennesaw, GA died December 28, 2015 at her home. She was born in Brazil, Indiana on May 17, 1932; daughter of the late Ernest and Edith Spurr. She graduated from Brazil High School in 1950. On August 21, 1964 in Terre Huate, Indiana, she married Jack L. Mace, who survives her. Other survivors include her granddaughter, Sherry K. Howells; two great grandchildren, Macen C. Howells and Caitlin R. Howells, all of Marietta, GA niece, Lisa Noble of Medford, WI; nephews, Terry and Scott Lambert Of Green Bay, WI. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen S. Thompson who died April 13, 2015. She loved music, movies, crafts and Red Hat Society, and was very devoted to her family. A Memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm on January 7, 2016 at Acworth United Methodist Church. Interment will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
