Dennis Earl Samples, age 51 of Ragland, AL died Sunday, January 19, 2014 in Birmingham, AL. He was born on April 13, 1962 to the late Bobby Earl Samples Sr. and Annie Kate Fortenberry Samples in Atlanta.

He was employed with Mid-Georgia Trucking. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by his wife, Mary Elizebeth Black Samples. He is survived by is siblings, Russell Samples, Charlotte Samples McGee, Linda Samples, Robert Samples, Bobbie Samples, Donna Samples Freeman, and Joseph Samples. He also leaves behind, his girlfriend, Amanda Haynes.

A memorial service will be held at Roy Davis Funeral Home on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from their chapel at 4:30 pm.
