David Lopez Torres

David Lopez Torres of Acworth, Georgia died peacefully Tuesday morning, May 7, 2013, After fighting for his life for over a month. He died but died to live. He was 60 years of age and would have turned 61 on August 10th. He was born in Eden, Texas but later on moved to Georgia. David loved his family and friends and put them before any of his other priorities. When you hear the name "David" I hope you think of him and smile. If there was one thing he loved more than life itself it would have to be a beautiful smile on each and every person that he met and loved. He will be greatly missed but always in our hearts.

David is survived by his two sons, Chance Torres and Jordan Vazquez Torres of Acworth, Georgia. He is also survived by his eight step-children, Gabe, Garth, and Molly Cunningham, Ricardo, Veronica, Andrea, Teresa, Mari and Junior Lomeli. Also, of Acworth, Georgia.

He had a heart for loving everyone of them the same, biological children or not. What a special soul he had and the love he gave was and is more then enough to keep us all going on. He had a great love for life and his children and was the best father anyone could ever ask for. Rest In Peace and spread those beautiful Angel wings and fly.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 at Redemption Baptist Church.
