Audrey Monroe, 93 of Douglasville, died Saturday, March 14, 2009. Born January 1, 1916 in Texas, Mrs. Monroe was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Neal Monroe. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Swift of Douglasville and Lynda Kay Wooten of Yuma, AZ; 16 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held in Arizona at a later date.
