Arvella Crowder
March 20, 1940 — August 1, 2022
On August 1, 2022, Arvella Pamela Crowder beckoned to that call in Austell, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Grady and Arfaguis Leslie, born March 20, 1940.
She attended school in Meriwether County and graduated from Greenville Consolidated School in 1959.Upon graduation she moved to Atlanta and began working in the hospitality industry and later transitioned into retail.
On. August 28, 1967, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mr. James Curtis Crowder. During their 36 years of marriage, they were blessed with two children, James Anthony Crowder and Curtis Viondi Crowder.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, brothers and husband.
She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories: her sons James Anthony Crowder of Atlanta, Ga. and Curtis Viondi Crowder of Smyrna, GA, Grandchildren Kennedy Alexis Crowder and Jackson Viondi Crowder of Smyrna; in laws, Joe Elliott Crowder (Marie), Pensacola, Fla. And Jacqueline Dyal (Henry), Warm Springs, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service is scheduled:
